Due to the unique history of our beautiful community, Whitley Heights has garnered the status of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places as wells as a Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ), which is an area in the City designated as containing structures, landscaping, natural features or sites having historic, architectural, cultural or aesthetic significance.
